Indie developer Shin’en has launched a new update for the Nintendo Switch’s high-speed racer, Fast RMX. Available to download for free, this new update brings brand new gameplay modes to the Nintendo eShop exclusive title.

Known as ‘Update 1.2’, the latest revision of the futuristic racer adds a brand new Time Attack mode, in which players can choose their favourite track and vehicle and attempt to beat the times set by the development team. The second new addition is that of online friend support; a new option in the multiplayer menu will allow players to join an online match specifically set for those whom have been added to their Nintendo Switch friends list.

Fast RMX has been considered one of the Nintendo Switch’s best launch titles and is currently the only racing videogame available for the format. That will change next week of course, with the highly anticipated launch of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe rapidly approaching.
