Independent Japanese developer Skipmore has announced a western release for Kamiko, which recently launched on the Nintendo eShop in Japan.
Kamiko is a videogame styled around Japanese Shinto beliefs. Players will fight as a priestesses called “Kamiko” in battles against demons while solving puzzles in an action-orientated videogame with a twist. Each stage has several Torii (gates) which are magically sealed, and the player must find a way to break all the seals to make your way to the stage boss.
Kamiko will launch for the Nintendo Switch on 27th April 2017, and will be priced at $4.99 / £4.49 / €4.99. The videogame is currently available via the Japanese Nintendo eShop.
