Nintendo Switch launch title Super Bomberman R has today received an update bringing new levels and accessories, as well as a number of minor tweaks. Available now, the update is free to all owners of the videogame.
Four new stages and two new accessories have been included in the update: Lagoon, which features a moving floor; White Cross, which has a crossroads of slippery floors; and Power Zone and Speed Zone, where players start with maximum firepower or speed, respectively. The two new accessories are a crown and a bomb.
The additional tweaks see Battle mode now running at 60 frames per second and a new AI opponent difficulty option. Story mode has also received an update with a much-needed manual camera angle change option.
Additional updates are set to arrive soon with characters based around Castlevania‘s Belmont, Gradius‘ Vic Viper and Silent Hill‘s Pyramid Head. No release date has yet been announced for these characters.
