SteamWorld Dig developers Image & Form have recently updated their work on the forthcoming Nintendo Switch edition of SteamWorld Dig 2. Currently set for release at an unspecified date in 2017, the developer has openly discussed their reasons for choosing to jump on board with Nintendo’s new videogame platform.
Forsaken Castle Kickstarter Aims for Nintendo Switch Support
Duck Block Games has launched a Kickstarter campaign for a 16-bit styled ‘Metroidvania’ adventure videogame, Forsaken Castle, and is targeting the Nintendo Switch as a release platform. The initial funding goal of $10,000 USD – which has already been surpassed – will see the title released on PC. PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch editions are available as stretch goals.
Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition Now Available to Pre-Order
The Nintendo Switch edition of the popular Rayman Legends, Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition is now available to pre-order in the UK. The videogame will launch both at retail and via the Nintendo eShop, and is currently expected to be available late in 2017.

Switch Streamers recently reported on a new update for Nintendo Switch launch title, Super Bomberman R, which saw new levels, accessories and a number of tweaks come to the videogame. The next series of updates was also revealed, including new characters from other Konami franchises. Now, artwork for each of the cameos has been released.
Phantom Trigger Heading to Nintendo Switch
tinyBuild’s Nintendo Switch debut came in the form of the recently released Mr. Shifty, but the publisher’s plans don’t stop there. tinyBuild’s Alex Nichiporchik recently revealed that the forthcoming Phantom Trigger would also make it’s way to Nintendo’s new hybrid console, with the porting process already underway.
